While there is no map in the published version of Gift of the Phoenix, I developed the map below for my use while writing the novel.
In fact, I created a map or sketch for many locations in the novel, from Nashua’s tiny domicile to the King’s office to the underground caverns of Amon Tunde.
Most of the background I created for the world of Gift of the Phoenix is well-developed and… unrevealed. I needed it to fully understand this world, the characters, the influence of the Phoenix, and the role of magic, but only the most critical parts made it into the book itself.
Below is a summary of the Songs of the Phoenix. This was an insert in the pre-release copy I gave to selected readers for a workshop with my editor.
